HUMBLE BEGINNING

He was closely associated for nearly two decades with Agri International brokerage Company / Intermediaries who were the buying agents of Continental Grain Company (USA), Mumbai, then known as Bombay.

He got familiar with all the intricacies of this line of business, during their more than two decades of association with Continental Grain Company. Not only did they do well in their respective positions, but brought name and fame to the Organization, by developing a very transparent way of handling clients and deals. Thereafter the two brothers decided to venture into this business on their own and incorporated Commodities (India) Pvt. Ltd. in 1990, which is still the flagship company of the Group.

The exponential growth of the group led to the incorporation of another Company, i.e., Bansal Commodities Enterprise , 2007. This giving a new height to the group activities. Both these companies are very actively involved in International trading activities and have worked as buying agents for one of the top player in agro based commodities, i.e., Cargill International Trading Co., USA. Commodities (India) Pvt. Ltd. acted as buying agents for Cargill forvarious extractions from 1990 to 1998. Today the group handles as Intermediary/Agents mainly the export of HPS groundnuts & Soya meal extractions to Indonesia, Malaysia & Philippines, Niger Seed to USA and handles imports of various pulses. The Group has a very well developed to cater to all the needs of its clients of international repute.

THE FUTURE 

Both the companies believe in long-term relationships where mutual trust is the key. And they are therefore consciously working on strengthening, the relationship with the existing clients and exploring new markets with a renewed interest and zeal. The group is willing to form association /business partnerships as exclusive buying /selling agents of Multi-national groups of Companies in agro based commodities.
